ON AMENDMENTS TO CERTAIN ARTICLES OF CIRCULAR NO. 22/2019/TT-BCT DATED NOVEMBER 12, 2019 OF THE MINISTER OF INDUSTRY AND TRADE ON SUSPENSION OF MERCHANTING TRADE AND TEMPORARY IMPORT OF PLYWOOD INTO VIETNAM FOR RE-EXPORT TO THE UNITED STATES
Pursuant to the Law on Foreign Trade Management dated June 12, 2017;
Pursuant to Decree No. 96/2022/ND-CP dated November 29, 2022 of the Government on functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, which is amended by the Government’s Decree No. 105/2024/ND-CP dated August 01, 2024;
Pursuant to Decree No. 69/2018/ND-CP dated May 15, 2018 of the Government elaborating on certain Articles of the Law on Foreign Trade Management;
At the request of the Director of the Agency of Foreign Trade;
The Minister of Industry and Trade hereby promulgates a Circular on amendments to certain Articles of Circular No. 22/2019/TT-BCT dated November 12, 2019 of the Minister of Industry and Trade on suspension of merchanting trade and temporary import of plywood into Vietnam for re-export to the United States.
Article 1. Amendments to certain Articles of Circular No. 22/2019/TT-BCT dated November 12, 2019 of the Minister of Industry and Trade on suspension of merchanting trade and temporary import of plywood into Vietnam for re-export to the United States
1. Addition of Article 3a to after Article 3:
“Article 3a. Responsibilities for organizing implementation
1. In case the legislative documents referred to this Circular are amended or replaced, the newest document shall be applied.
2. Relevant traders, agencies, organizations and individuals should report in writing difficulties arising in the process of implementing this Circular to the Ministry of Industry and Trade for handling.”
2. Amendments to Article 4:
“Article 4. Implementation clauses
This Circular takes effect from December 27, 2019 to December 31, 2029.”
Article 2. Implementation clauses
This Circular comes into force from November 25, 2024./.
