Học sinh lớp 12 có thể chuyển trường được không?

Căn cứ theo khoản 3 Điều 5 Quyết định 51/2002/QĐ-BGDĐT quy định về việc chuyển trường như sau:

3. Việc chuyển trường được thực hiện khi kết thúc học kỳ I của năm học hoặc trong thời gian hè trước khi khai giảng năm học mới. Trường hợp ngoại lệ về thời gian do Trưởng phòng Giáo dục và Đào tạo (đối với cấp trung học cơ sở), Giám đốc Sở Giáo dục và Đào tạo (đối với cấp trung học phổ thông) nơi đến xem xét, quyết định.”

Như vậy, học sinh lớp 12 hoàn toàn có thể chuyển trường nếu đã kết thúc học kỳ I của năm học hoặc trong thời gian hè trước khi năm học mới bắt đầu.

Tuy nhiên, trong trường hợp đặc biệt, việc chuyển trường có thể được xem xét và quyết định bởi Giám đốc Sở Giáo dục và Đào tạo nơi trường học mới tọa lạc.

Do đó, để thực hiện việc chuyển trường, học sinh cần đáp ứng đầy đủ các điều kiện chuyển trường do các cơ quan giáo dục quy định. Học sinh và phụ huynh cần chuẩn bị các hồ sơ, giấy tờ liên quan để thuận lợi cho việc chuyển trường.

Hồ sơ chuyển trường THPT cần những giấy tờ gì?

Căn cứ Tiểu mục 1 Mục A Phần 2 Thủ tục hành chính được thay thế, lĩnh vực Giáo dục trung học thuộc phạm vi chức năng quản lý của Bộ Giáo dục và Đào tạo ban hành kèm theo Quyết định 941/QĐ-BGDĐT năm 2022, việc chuyển trường Trung học Phổ thông (THPT) được thực hiện theo các bước sau:

Bước 1: Chuẩn bị hồ sơ chuyển trường THPT

Hồ sơ chuyển trường bao gồm các tài liệu sau:

- Đơn xin chuyển trường, ký bởi cha mẹ hoặc người giám hộ.

- Học bạ bản chính.

- Giấy chứng nhận trúng tuyển vào lớp đầu cấp THPT, tùy vào loại hình trường (công lập hoặc tư thục).

- Giấy giới thiệu chuyển trường do hiệu trưởng trường hiện tại cấp.

- Giấy giới thiệu chuyển trường do Giám đốc Sở Giáo dục và Đào tạo cấp (nếu chuyển trường từ tỉnh khác).

Lưu ý: Hồ sơ chuyển trường phải có một bộ duy nhất.

Bước 2: Gửi hồ sơ

Nếu chuyển trường trong cùng tỉnh hoặc thành phố, hồ sơ sẽ được gửi trực tiếp tới trường THPT nơi học sinh muốn chuyển đến.

Nếu chuyển trường từ tỉnh hoặc thành phố khác, hồ sơ cần gửi đến Sở Giáo dục và Đào tạo nơi học sinh muốn chuyển đến.

Bước 3: Giải quyết chuyển trường

Nếu chuyển trường trong cùng tỉnh, thành phố: Hiệu trưởng trường nơi học sinh muốn chuyển đến sẽ tiếp nhận và xử lý hồ sơ theo quy định của Giám đốc Sở Giáo dục và Đào tạo.

Nếu chuyển trường từ tỉnh, thành phố khác: Sở Giáo dục và Đào tạo nơi đến sẽ tiếp nhận hồ sơ, kiểm tra và giới thiệu về trường học phù hợp.

Việc chuyển trường sẽ được thực hiện sau khi kết thúc học kỳ 1 của năm học hoặc trong kỳ nghỉ hè trước khi năm học mới bắt đầu. Trường hợp có yêu cầu đặc biệt về thời gian, Giám đốc Sở Giáo dục và Đào tạo nơi đến sẽ xem xét và quyết định.
