PROMULGATING PRICE BRACKET FOR CONTAINER HANDLING SERVICES AT VIETNAMESE SEAPORTS
THE MINISTER OF TRANSPORT OF VIETNAM
Pursuant to the Vietnam Maritime Code dated November 25, 2015;
Pursuant to the Law on Prices dated June 19, 2023;
Pursuant to the Government’s Decree No. 56/2022/ND-CP dated August 24, 2022 defining the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Ministry of Transport;
Pursuant to the Circular No. 12/2024/TT-BGTVT dated May 15, 2024 of the Minister of Transport on mechanisms and policies for management of prices for services Vietnamese seaports;
At the request of the Director General of the Department of Transportation and the Director General of the Vietnam Maritime Administration.
HEREBY DECIDES:
The prices specified in this Decision are exclusive of value-added tax.
This Decision applies to Vietnamese organizations and individuals, foreign organizations and individuals involved in the provision and use of container handling services at Vietnamese seaports.

Article 8. Conditions for application
1. The price bracket for domestic container handling services specified in Article 3 of this Article applies to container goods transported between two seaport wharves or two seaport terminals within Vietnam.
2. Price bracket for container handling services during import, export, temporary import, re-export specified in Articles 4 through 7 of this Decision applies to:
a) Cargo containers which are loaded at Vietnam’s last seaport wharves or terminals to be transported to foreign ports;
b) Cargo containers which arrive from foreign ports and are unloaded at Vietnam’s first seaport wharves or terminals;
Article 9. Effect and implementation
1. This Decision comes into force from July 01, 2024.
2. Chief of Office, Chief Inspector of the Ministry, Directors General, Director General of the Vietnam Maritime Administration, heads of agencies, enterprises and individuals concerned are responsible for the implementation of this Decision./.
