THE MINISTER OF INDUSTRY AND TRADE OF VIETNAM
Pursuant to the Government’s Decree No. 96/2022/ND-CP dated November 29, 2022 on functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Ministry of Industry and Trade;
Pursuant to the Law on Electricity dated December 03, 2004; the Law on amendments to some Articles of the Law on Electricity dated November 20, 2012;
Pursuant to the Government’s Decree No. 137/2013/ND-CP dated October 21, 2013 on elaboration of implementation of some Articles of the Electricity Law, and the Law on amendments to some Articles of the Electricity Law;
Pursuant to Government’s Decree No. 104/2022/ND-CP dated December 21, 2022 on amendments to Decrees on submission and presentation of household register books, temporary residence register books upon carrying out administrative procedures or providing public services;
Pursuant to Decision No. 24/2017/QD-TTg dated June 30, 2017 of the Prime Minister on mechanism for adjustment in average retail electricity price;
Pursuant to Decision No. 28/2014/QD-TTg dated April 07, 2014 of the Prime Minister on structure of electricity retail tariff;
Pursuant to Decision No. 02/2023/QD-TTg dated February 03, 2023 of the Prime Minister on bracket of electricity the average retail prices;
Pursuant to Circular No. 16/2014/TT-BCT dated May 29, 2014 of the Minister of Industry and Trade on electricity prices; Circular No. 25/2018/TT-BCT dated September 12, 2018 of the Minister of Industry and Trade on amendments to some Articles of Circular No. 16/2014/TT-BCT ; Circular No. 06/2021/TT-BCT dated August 06, 2021 of the Minister of Industry and Trade on amendments to some Articles of Circular No. 16/2014/TT-BCT ; and Circular No. 09/2023/TT-BCT dated April 21, 2023 of the Minister of Industry and Trade on amendments to some Articles of Circular No. 16/2014/TT-BCT and Circular No. 25/2018/TT-BCT ;
Pursuant to Decision No. 1416/QD-EVN dated November 08, 2023 of Vietnam Electricity on adjustment in average retail electricity price;
At the request of the General Director of the Electricity Regulatory Authority of Vietnam,
HEREBY DECIDES:
Article 1. Retail electricity prices and electricity prices provided in the Appendix enclosed herewith are applied to groups of electricity users and electricity retailers respectively Electricity price provided in the Appendix enclosed herewith is exclusive of value added tax (VAT).
Article 2. Average retail electricity price is VND 2.006,79 per kWh (exclusive of VAT).
Article 3. This Decision comes into force from November 09, 2023.
The Decision No. 1062/QD-BCT dated May 04, 2023 of the Minister of Industry and Trade on electricity prices will cease to be effective from the effective date of this Decision.
Article 4. Chief of the Ministry's Office, Director General of the Electricity Regulatory Authority, Director General of Vietnam Electricity and relevant organizations and individuals shall be responsible for the implementation of this Decision./.
