Dear Keeper of the Shore,

I am the Ocean. I have been here long before you, cradling the Earth in my endless embrace, shaping the lands, feeding the skies, and breathing life into every corner of the world. You have watched my waves dance under the sun, listened to my whispers in the tides, and stood in awe of my vastness. I have given you food to nourish your body, a home for the creatures you admire, and even the very air you breathe.

But now, I must speak, because I am in pain.

Once, my waters shimmered with purity, alive with creatures of every shape and color, from the smallest plankton to the grandest whales. Coral gardens flourished, fish darted in great silver schools, and my currents moved in perfect harmony with the pulse of the Earth. Now, I am suffocating under plastic and waste, poisoned by chemicals, and burdened by rising temperatures. Creatures that once thrived in my depths now struggle to survive. Some disappear forever, their voices lost beneath my waves.

I have always been generous, asking for nothing in return but respect. But now, I must ask for your help.

I am not separate from you. My health is tied to yours. The air you breathe is made cleaner by the life within me. The rain that waters your fields, the climate that shapes your seasons, the balance of life itself. These are my gifts to you. But as I grow sick, so too does the world above me. When I rise in anger, shorelines disappear. When my currents falter, weather turns extreme. When my creatures die, ecosystems collapse.

Yet, it is not too late.

You have the power to protect me. Keep your shores clean and free of waste, for every bottle, every plastic bag, every discarded piece of trash eventually finds its way to me. Choose wisely what you consume, for pollution and overfishing strip me of life. Use your voice to speak for me, to demand that those in power take action before my balance is lost forever. Teach your children to love and respect me, as their future depends on my survival.

I do not ask for perfection, only for care. For thoughtfulness in your actions. For kindness in the way you treat the world that gives you so much.

I will always be here, cradling your shores, singing with the waves, holding mysteries yet to be discovered. I only ask that you do not turn away from me in my time of need.

Dear Friend,

I am the Ocean. You have felt my waves, breathed the air I help create, and watched my endless horizon stretch beneath the sky. I have been here for as long as the Earth itself, shaping the land, guiding the weather, and providing life for millions of creatures including you.

But I am struggling.

My waters, once pure and full of life, now carry plastic, oil, and waste. The creatures that swim within me, that have thrived for centuries, are disappearing trapped in nets, poisoned by pollution, or left without a home as coral reefs die. I grow warmer each year, my tides rise higher, and storms grow stronger. This is not just my burden to bear anh it affects you, too.

I need your help.

Please, be kind to me. Keep your beaches and waters clean. Reduce plastic waste, for what is thrown away often finds its way back to me. Be mindful of what you take fish, shells, even a simple piece of coral, because every part of me plays a role in keeping the world balanced. Support those who work to protect me, and speak up so others understand that my health is tied to yours.

You may think that one person cannot make a difference, but every action counts. Every piece of trash removed from a beach, every choice to use less plastic, every effort to respect the life within me helps. If you take care of me, I can continue to take care of you.

I will always be here moving with the tides, whispering in the waves, embracing the shore. But I need you to protect me, as I have always protected you.

Những lưu ý về cuộc thi viết thư UPU năm 2025 bên cạnh mẫu bài dự thi UPU

(1) Mục đích cuộc thi

Cuộc thi Viết thư UPU giúp học sinh rèn luyện kỹ năng viết, tư duy sáng tạo, thể hiện quan điểm về các vấn đề toàn cầu và hiểu rõ vai trò của ngành bưu chính.

(2) Đối tượng tham dự

Dành cho học sinh Việt Nam từ 9 đến 15 tuổi. Bài thi là tác phẩm sáng tạo, viết tay, dưới 800 từ, trình bày sạch đẹp. Nếu viết bằng tiếng nước ngoài, phải kèm bản dịch tiếng Việt.

(3) Thời gian và nơi nhận bài

Nhận bài: 11/11/2024 - 05/03/2025 (theo dấu Bưu điện).

Địa chỉ nhận: Báo Thiếu niên Tiền phong & Nhi đồng, số 5 Hòa Mã, Hai Bà Trưng, Hà Nội.

Lưu ý: Gửi qua Vietnam Post, ghi rõ tiêu đề cuộc thi trên phong bì, kèm mã bưu chính 11611.

Tuổi của học sinh trường trung học là bao nhiêu?

Tuổi của học sinh trường trung học được quy định tại Điều 33 Điều lệ trường trung học cơ sở, trường trung học phổ thông và trường phổ thông có nhiều cấp học ban hành kèm theo Thông tư 32/2020/TT-BGDĐT cụ thể:

- Tuổi của học sinh vào học lớp 6 là 11 tuổi. Tuổi của học sinh vào học lớp 10 là 15 tuổi. Đối với những học sinh được học vượt lớp ở cấp học trước hoặc học sinh vào cấp học ở độ tuổi cao hơn tuổi quy định thì tuổi vào lớp 6 và lớp 10 được giảm hoặc tăng căn cứ vào tuổi của năm tốt nghiệp cấp học trước.

- Học sinh là người dân tộc thiểu số, học sinh khuyết tật, học sinh có hoàn cảnh đặc biệt khó khăn, học sinh ở nước ngoài về nước có thể vào cấp học ở tuổi cao hơn 03 tuổi so với tuổi quy định.
